Glenglassaugh Distillery, Knockdhu Distillery and Macduff Distillery in the Banffshire and Buchan Coast produce some of the country’s finest whiskies.International Whisk(e)y Day was started by Nouet and Helen Arthur as a way to honour their friend and legendary whisky writer, the late Michael Jackson. As well as celebrating whisky, fans are encouraged to donate money to charities of their choice – most commonly Parkinson’s Disease charities as Michael suffered from this for many years.
