Parliament is now closed until after the General Election on Thursday, 6th May 2021

Session 5 of Parliament ceased to sit at 18:12 on Wednesday, 24th March 2021. From that date, when a campaign recess started, until 5th May 2021, when I cease to be an MSP, under Parliamentary rules I am only allowed to take on new casework if it is urgent. Constituents will be asked to provide an explanation for anything that needs to be categorised as urgent.

We expect to continue with casework upon which we commenced action prior to 5th May, until 1st August if necessary.
We will continue to regularly check voicemails and emails and are receiving physical mail addressed to our office at a staff member's home address. But due to Coronavirus we are not engaging in face to face contact.

If urgent, please contact us at or phone 01779 470444.

Please do not use social media to make requests to us as these personal accounts are monitored infrequently.

Please do not visit the office as we are all working from home.

Public record of MSP being lobbied

In the interests of transparency, I publish the diary entries that relate to my being lobbied. The record starts in September 2012 when the arrangements for publishing Ministerial diaries ceased to apply to me.

I exclude records of constituents lobbying me on political policy or personal matters but would include a record if a professional lobbyist is involved.

I accept lobbying requests in the interests of being better informed.

Should you identify any errors or omissions, please draw these to my attention so that I may consider the remedy I may require to put in place.

To view details, click on the diary entry of interest which is shown below. Alternatively you can read the diary directly via Google Calendar by clicking on the logo on the right.

Note that only diary entries with an accepted status represent meetings that have actually taken place or are planned to do so.
