New Deer Friendship Club Benefits From MSP's Opinions

New Deer Friendship Club has benefitted from a £60 donation courtesy of Banff & Buchan MSP Stewart Stevenson taking part in an opinion survey for a national research organisation.

The survey organisers offered MSPs a £60 donation to a good cause in their constituencies if they took part. Mr Stevenson did and nominated the New Deer Friendship Club on the recommendation of South Buchan SNP councillor Norma Thomson.

Speaking after handing over the cheque in New Deer, Mr Stevenson said:

“I was pleased to be able to help New Deer Friendship Club simply by answering some questions.

“I know that the funds will be put to good use by the club, which has a thriving membership and meets regularly in the village hall.”
