Born in 1946 and brought up in Cupar, Fife, I was educated at the local school - 
Banff & Buchan MSP Stewart Stevenson has welcomed the news that Maud Village Trust has been successful in receiving a Big Lottery Fund Investing in Ideas grant.
Commenting on the news, Mr Stevenson said:
“I was delighted to hear that Maud Village Trust was successful in gaining a £9,600 grant. I am certain that this substantial sum of money will help the Trust greatly.
“I wish them well in their development of the remaining acre of land at the former Maud Mart site to provide a community facility which will benefit Maud and the surrounding areas.”
