Commenting ahead of tomorrow’s official opening of the redeveloped Chalmers Hospital in Banff, local MSP Stewart Stevenson said:
“I am delighted that the facility is now officially open. This redevelopment has been a long process but I hope that patients and health service users will agree that this is now a facility fit for the 21st century.
“It is clear that people want to receive treatment in their own community and this investment in health facilities should help to eliminate some of the long journeys that patients have had to endure in the past to access health services.”
