Commenting on the initiative, Mr

“Know Your Numbers Week will help to
raise awareness about the dangers of uncontrolled high blood pressure which is
responsible for 60% of strokes and 40% of heart attacks, resulting in needless
deaths and disability.
“Keeping blood pressure at a healthy
level is one of the most important things everyone can do to reduce these major
causes of death and disability – and this can only be done if everyone gets
tested to know their blood pressure numbers.
