Small businesses in the North-east are a large part of the economy making up 96% of the 14,185 registered businesses in Aberdeenshire Council.
Mr Stevenson took the opportunity to discuss the need to transform towns by delivering a sustainable future for local places and ensure businesses grow locally.
The meeting comes following 7,343 businesses in Aberdeenshire have received the Small Business Bonus in 2018-19.
