MSP Highlights Contracting Opportunities for Local Businesses

Contractors across the North-east that want to become part of Scottish Water’s procurement framework should go to a Market Day Conference being held by the company on March 17.

This was the message from Stewart Stevenson SNP MSP for Banffshire & Buchan Coast who wants local businesses to take every opportunity they can to benefit from procurement opportunities.

Commenting, Mr Stevenson said:

“This is a great opportunity for successful local firms, and could create opportunities for contractors across the North-east.”

The conference will outline Scottish Water's procurement process for rural contractors who can help deliver investment in the upcoming 2015-21 investment period. The target audience is contractors and specialist suppliers or service providers who can provide rural, in-house delivery capabilities to support the delivery of Scottish Water's Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure capital programme for 2015-21.
